I am is a holistic psychotherapist with a 15 year research career in psychiatry at the University of Pittsburgh and Case Western Reserve University Cleveland,Ohio. My teaching career includes being instructor in psychotherapy assigned to residency training and presenting at grand rounds in hypnotherapy at the Cleveland Clinic. While at the clinic I was the lead mind-body coach, trainer and supervisor of the staff at the Center for Integrative Medicine in clinical uses hypnotherapy. I currently teach a two year internship in heart-centered hypnotherapy in both Cleveland and Seattle for qualified professionals. I have co-authored two papers on the use of novel treatments in postpartum depression and was awarded the outstanding service award from the University of Pittsburgh for novel approach to training residents and psychologists in family therapy. I currently hold master’s degrees from the University of Chicago and Delphi University and am certified by the National Association of Cognitive Behavioral Therapists and the Cleveland Center for Cognitive Therapy.
My primary focus is empowering clients in mindfulness and how to use self-hypnosis to reach their full potential. Current specialty areas include depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), smoking cessation and weight management, pre surgical hypnosis along with novel alternative treatments including color and sound healing and Subtle Energy and past life regression therapy.
